Fuel...we mean food!   There are a couple good ways to get that done.

First, you can do meals on your own. The towns we visit have a good selection of restaurants and going out for meals is a good way to get to know the town better and have a little culinary adventure. There are grocery stores too, but fires, grills, and camp stoves are not allowed in the camping area and coolers are not taken on the baggage truck.

Second, you can sign up for pre-paid breakfasts and dinners. This is a super easy and convenient way to get fed.

Each year the food just gets better and better! Our caterer, A Spice of Life Catering  will prepare tasty, nutritious meals each day. We will have a different culinary theme for each day. You’ll get a nice portion of protein, some good vegetables and lots of carbs. Meals are geared for the nutritional needs of the ride. Check out the menu here!

There will be a limited number of meals available for “walk-ups” if you want to bring a friend or end up too tired to go out.

Recommendation: Get all of your breakfasts prepaid. It is convenient and you’ll get on the road each day with a minimum amount of hassle. Choose selectively for dinners – check out the town’s web site to see what options you have and think about how tired you might be after the day’s effort.

No pre-paid meals on the rest day.
